Exciting Project

Do you remember me saying there was something special coming up in a few months?  You’ll see a new button in my sidebar.  When you click on the button it will take you to the page for “Christmas Town Sampler—A Collaboration Among Friends”.  The page will explain part of what we’re doing.  I tried to include as much info as I could.  If you have questions, please ask and I’ll try to answer.

I’m working on this with 3 dear friends who are also involved in this project…Denise Russart, Susan Neves, and Judy Laquidara.  These pictures are of us having fun at a retreat in Arkansas.

Take a look.  I hope you’ll like the idea and decide to join us!

  1. I was thrilled when I read Denise’s post on the project. It sounds like it will be wonderful. I can hardly wait.

And I was there and didn’t realize I was in the presence of so much talent. Although I have learned about it since then, lol. I am looking forward to the quilt!

LOL, funny you should finally mention your surprise. I was just at Justquiltin with Denise Russart where she spilled the beans about the project starting in July. Julyyyyyyy! We got to wait thatttttt long? LOL Okay geesh, ya sadist. I am so looking forward to it. I am also following Justtake2 where Sentimental Stitches and Dear Jane are doing the same sort of thing. You ladies are going to have us all jumping like rabbits all over the place trying to keep up with it, heh hee hee, meanies. Thankfully, they are doing it thru email notification for the most part. That will help my aging mind not forget to go collect them at the different sites. Are you ladies going to do that through email notification? Please??
And as always, thank you for sharing your talent with us. Hugs

    • Yep, it’s not starting until July. Anticipation my dear! Lol. Sorry, but we’re not doing e-mail notifications. The easiest way to keep up is to subscribe to at least one of our blogs and you’ll see when each block is released and then you can visit all of them. I think you’ll have fun with this.

  4. I tell you . . just seeing us all in that picture might scare some folks into not even wanting to be a part of this project! 🙂

  5. Naah. That picture makes me want to get together with all of you again. Don had the cover put on the back of my new truck and a bed slide to make it easier for me to load/unload machines, etc so I can run up & down the road to quilt. Lol.
