Well, I said they would be back didn’t I? I didn’t expect it to be today though. Same car…2 women instead of 2 men this time. The neighbor across the road confronted them as they were digging in the scrap metal.
Lo and Behold!!!
They didn’t know they were doing anything wrong….they thought this was just a junk yard and no one cared. Liar, liar, pants on fire. Common thieves.
He believed them and didn’t even take down their tag number or come to get me. When Don came home about 30 minutes after they had left, he came over to share the news.
Did we call the police? Why would we do that? They couldn’t care less.
So now Don is outside in the dark putting up a fence! It won’t keep a determined person out but it will do for now and surely make it a little more difficult to steal stuff. He’ll fortify it later but with daily visits from these low-life trash, it had to be done now.
I just don’t understand the mindset of people like this. Why should we have to live behind a fence???? Why don’t they get a real job and contribute to society in some meaningful way? Oh wait….I have an opinion about that.
Our government has become so good at handing out food, welfare checks, housing subsidies, etc., etc., etc. that people think someone *owes* them a free ride.
I contend we don’t owe anybody anything. Earn it yourself you creep!!!!

/ November 10, 2010It’s a puzzle isn’t it? I guess we have to just be grateful that he’s at least watching and let’s us know.
I don’t believe anything most anybody says these days and especially not these folks who stop by.
Sheesh.
